Be great to have you there but with it just being a fwd dyno will you be able to run the R?
Also they can't take cars lowered more than -35mm.

My car is standard ride height, so should be fine.

I honestly dont know, I know its lower than 35mm lowing springs as on the coil overs ive just dropped it until it doesnt scrape the arches unless on full lock also shem has to drive it up on blocks to get the jack under it

Recommend 12 but that's them, the bloke in the garage Chris says they will still run with a minimum of 5 :)

I would say aslongs you pay your deposit a week before the 30th may that should be fine, really looking forward to having a good look around these volvos, couple of us Saab nutts also are a big fan of the volvos.

Even if it's not Swedish and you want to run that's fine, think uksaabs is down for repairs at the moment but hopefully back in the morning.

Just ordered my rocker cover gasket, sealant and torque wrench as my current one doesn't go down to 15nm's. Got to reduce my oil usage..................hopefully. Oil is pouring out from that circular recess where the distributor used to fit I believe?

It was called Betsy (and still is - when it works). I should be able to get it almost to the point of restarting tomorrow. Just have the DP to reattach, fit the inlet cam blank seal, fix a small water leak on the oil cooler, fit the air intake and add oil & water.

If I get time then I may look at the BC coilovers & later the DO88 RIP kit, whic needs modifying.

Really looking forward to this one folks, just a heads up on the day make sure to check your levels under the bonnet etc, tyre pressures.

and also make sure your engines warmed up before going on the dyno (not teaching you to suck eggs :) )

Not trying to make any excuses, but I had either a binding front offside brake or a wheel bearing issue. She drove Home very well though, and my average mpg went up another 0.5 after not being reset since I've had her back. Forgot to check for excessive heat build-up as soon as I got Home, but something to keep an eye on.

Run 4 with boost turned down to 14psi 264bhp with only 275 lbf ft.

I don't know how the Saab ecu would react to a recirc delete, but you can just fit a one way valve in the vac pipe to the recirc.

Since my wheel bearing or binding brake issue, I have kept a very close eye on things this last week and can honestly say that I can't see anything amiss. Maybe it freed itself on the RR day if it was a binding brake........
