I think I've put this in the wrong forum, oops

Hi all,

I have an S60 T5 and it has lights in the door mirrors that are activated by the remote control. For some reason the bulbs have fallen out of the lights and they rattle like hell but I do not know how to replace them. The owners book explains most bulb changes but I cannot find a reference to the door mirror bulbs

Any help would be much appreciated

Regards

Lights in the door mirrors? Do you mean puddle lights externally?

Hi Andy,

To be honest I'm not sure what a puddle light is (fool that I am). The lights I'm referring to are actually in the bottom of both door mirrors and come on when you push the yellow button on the remote control along with the position lights etc. I think the mirrors have had a whack at some point before I owned the car and the bulbs are now rattling around in the light / mirror.

Hope this clarifies

you would need to remove the glass and motor to do from inside.
glass ,pull to the side away from the car as it is held by a flap and it will release the outer edge then unhook , and motor secured by 3 or 4 screws.
i think it has a festoon type bulb.

Hi Madness

Thanks for your help on this. The key was removing the mirror glass itself once that's out it all becomes clear.

Once again, thank
