Gear knob removal method

Just a quick ask as my 6 sp gear knob is here, just stick a grinder through it carefully?

That's for an 850, do you mean on your R?

If so, you just push down and twist 90 degrees and lift up.

It's on a manual gearstick from a 850 t5, I'm fitting the civic gear knob and will have to mod it first (6 sp)

The old ones just come off with a good pull. Promise. Ive done 2 in the last 3 weeks. Just be careful not to dent the roof when it pops off as you will need to pulll with a fair bit of force! Good luck , Morgan

Auto ones come off with a good pull, I may just cut it off as it's loose off the car
