Im going to get a set of -40mm springs for my S70. Ive seen a set of PI ones on POTN for £146 or a set of APEXI ones for £134.
How much do you reckon it'd cost to fit these (roughly)
Anyone know anyone in the Northwest who could do this????

A would just go to a local garage to have it done and wouldnt expect to pay any more than £100

There's ABP motorsport in Northwhich who charge around £120 for fitting plus £46 for laser alignment.

I had my golf set up by DP motorsport on Liverpool Old Rd in Warrington, they normally deal with Porsches or mental mitzis etc but I suppose alignment is alignment....

Eibach springs are highly rated but cost around £200 but you get a good balance between comfort and handling.

I've got a Bilstein streetline kit on my Mk2 Golf which was £175 for 4 shox & 4 springs which means it's very Kart like now!

hey guys, i'm looking at a set of JR springs. 40mm drop and cost 123 pound.
Good price and come with 5 year warranty.
Anyone had any experanice with this brand?
Pick up my S70 T5 in 2 weeks, getting it's ECU given some TME treatment and about to order 2.5" cat back exhaust, K&N filter and the springs of coarse.
Cant wait!

No experience of the JR's but I found somewhere last night online that'll do Eibachs for £180 ish (incl VAT) which is £30 cheaper than most places...

Try www.dcdezign.com

The Eibachs are £60 than the others but they are very good!

Try Demon Tweaks in Wrexham.

They'll probably charge you around £100-£150 to fit them but will include a full 4 wheel laser alignment and set up. :B_steerin

Is that including alignment? If so I'll be nipping down in the New Year!

but not the same as the Eibach 'Pro-Kit' Springs you would normally buy. They are the same as the Eibach budget 'Sport Line' range.

I've heard of the budget Eibach kit but never found the part number for the Volvo S70 and now I know why!

So......whats the difference between a budget eibach/JR spring and a prokit spring?
