Hello all
Can anyone give me instruction how to remove the rear bumper on a 2005 xc70
need to fit some after market parking sensors

Not done a p2, but the p1 was 2 long bolts from underneath the car. One above the exhaust and one to the other side of the car. After they were removed, I think it was just the locators at the sides that held it on. Don't know how the p2 compares.......

I have removed a P2 V70,,, this had 4 bolts on side of boot and 2 torx screws near mud flaps
Just wondering if is the same ?

Will need to remove battery to get to two bolts,good idea to put some tape across the socket so the nut or bolt doesn't fall off or you will be getting a magnet on a stick out.the

Roger on that,,
infact may just drill 4 holes in bumper without removing it,,,
did that on a p2 v70 some months ago,, I know the XC70 is a bigger bumper
What do you think?

If I remember it's 10 mins work ,when you do you will see the gaps for the sensors.
Just found a photo. You can see the bolt holes.

Fitted it all today,,
thanks so much all members for your fantastic input , a great site full of great people.
in the end really easy to do !
If you are in Norfolk or just popping in...
Give me a pm and will fit these no problem to VPCUK members for some beer tokens !
Ok next job,, front bumper off ,,, new lights to fit and high jet headlamp washer motor,,,
then to try and find out where the oil leak is coming from...
