Thought I'd share another meet that's being organised for all Volvo enthusiasts.

As part of Millsy's awesome Meets Schedule for 2015, it looks like VT are heading 'Off The Rails' towards York in February.

The National Railway Museum will present us with 200 years of rail history and 1,000,000 objects that changed the world, all at the UK's largest railway museum.

Entry is FREE for all the family. Parking Fee applies.

We'll be able to get up close to over 200 years of fascinating history in the UK's largest railway museum. Explore the giant halls full of trains and railway legends including Mallard - the world's fastest steam locomotive, Japanese Bullet Train and Royal Trains including Queen Victoria's luxurious saloon.

Soak up the nostalgic atmosphere in the renovated Station Hall which tells the story of over a century of station life. Explore the different passenger journeys and travel back in time to experience working life in a station.

Get on board awe inspiring locomotives, engage with lots of hands on activities, watch engineers at work in The Workshop, uncover hidden treasures in The Warehouse and make tracks to the outdoor area. Kids can let off steam in the outdoor play area including a miniature railway ride. Families can engage in interactive science shows and storytelling each weekend.

This should be an awesome meet and something the weather can't spoil.

We're looking to meet at the National Railway Museum between 10:00 and 10:30am.

Entry to the museum is free of charge and once inside there are several cafes and restaurants which will serve everything from a bacon sandwich to a Sunday lunch.

Already proving a popular meet with over 30 Volvos in attendance with members from VolvoTuning, VPCUK, T5D5 & VOC

Hope to see you there.

Steve

Nothing wrong with a car with a little 'character'....I thought out of the 82 Volvos at the Cosford Meet, my favourite was this little orange number lol

you won't be alone mate!! :)

I was planning on attending the south Yorkshire meet, but maybe there is some interest to combine and tag along for this one

The museum is pretty good and I can confirm it was free last time I was there...surprised by that. The toy shop sadly was not free

Good turn out, great idea for a location...a bit damp but didn't spoil it

Plus a grubby gay gold S70!

Very disappointed with one thing though - the C30 lads stealing my trademark Vendetta mask! The rumour is they thought of it first but the truth will out!!

Make space on your calendar for the VT200 on the 12th April at the Heritage Motor Museum, Gaydon. Looking at getting 200 Volvo's to attend....should be a good day.
