Apologies if this sounds stupid, but can you adjust the camber on the front of a P1 V70?
Didn't notice slotted holes on the bottom of the strut.

Had my wheel off to try and diagnose the knocking noise, and noticed i've got illegal wear on the inside 1/4 of the tyre.
Looks like I've got too much negative camber (although it doesn't look like it?)

Also slightly off topic, has anyone ever fitted roll centre adjusters on these?
Spacer between the upright and the bearing to make the lower wishbone more horizontal
(which raises the roll centre reducing body roll as it's closer to the centre of mass. Also reduces track change with suspension travel. Yes suspension dynamics is my 'thing' to a point)
While i was under there I noticed they're in a hell of an upward angle (-40 springs, 205/45/r17, so nothing very different)

you can buy camber bolts to alter it upto 4 degrees

found them, now having done a bit of reading, what else could be causing wear on the inner edge?
I think I have the pressure a bit high, but the camber isn't noticable, haven't measured it yet mind

Still quite curious about roll centre correction considering these cars are occasionally driven quite hard
Will have a look into it myself

First thing to do would be to get the tracking checked.

I get that on.the rear of mine but the fronts are ok but it's very lowered with stiff suspension

Tracking I can have done, as I need to get my second pair of wheels painted and have winter tyres put on!

I'm wondering if it could be my wishbone bushes being shagged, 171k and i assume they're still standard.
But they can't really be changed can they?
Diesel wishbones are different to 'normal' cars' wishbones correct?

Thinking a bit of TLC wouldn't be a bad idea when fitting my ARBs (when they come)

+1 for tracking here. Get all four wheels done with one of the new laser gizmos. I had mine done last night - the fronts were out as I've just had a new rack put on, and the rears were out quite a bit too.

You say the rears out, how did they adjust them to make them right??

No, FWD has totally different rear suspension.

Thats what I thought Stribo. Wasn't sure if the adjustment point was the same though, but thinking about it now, it will be completely different as its multilink etc.

I'm not even sure if the FWD has adjustable tracking at the rear.

Tracking can be done on rear FWD but not camber on rear.....
