Anyone running magnet sump-gearbox drain plug.

Just wondering if anyone has fitting these magnet engine sump and or gearbox plugs ?.

surely this will only be of real benefit if the original magnet is removed from the gearbox, else you will still have metal debris trapped in the box instead of all collecting on the magnetic plug for easy removal at oil change time.....just a thought
