Have these set of codes come up my 98 S70 T5, correct me if they're the wrong description...

P1132 - Indicates rich
P0234 - Engine overboost condition
P0138 - O2 Sensor circuit high voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
P1332 - Knock sensor 4 low input.

These 4 codes have come up with the diagnostics tool! I noticed when driving with the open air filter, the turbo sprools up but as you're accelerating, you get the "dump" noise as if you'd come off the throttle but it does a little "dump" while accelerating then feels really hesistant. Doesn't feel like it is boosting 100%. Faulty actuator or? Thank you in advance!

The thump is likely to be boost cut or some sort of ECU protection coming - in. The overboost code will likely be a result of self protection.

2 O2 sensor codes would suggest the lambda is knackered.

dunno about the knock sensor tbh.

Check the vac pipe that runs from the recirc valve to the inlet manifold, it may be holed, in which case the boost pressure won't hold the recirc valve shut.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I haven't really been using as I want to get it perfect and serviced up.

Don't want to sound like a numpty but I had a very close inspection last night. I saw the vacuum hose from the actuator was actually floating about not connected to anything. I've connected it to where it should be but I don't really have the chance to drive as it is SORN and it is a bit too quick to drive around my little parking area haha! Hopefully this was the cause of the boost codes?

That'll solve at least some of the problems.

I would've thought the car would've gone into limp mode though at least? My Colt CZT used to kill itself if a vacuum was off

Is this worth a shout to sort the O2 problems? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lambda-Sensor-for-VOLVO-S70-2-3-T5-T5-01-12-1998-Cambiare-/301425680627?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item462e5ee0f3
