Hi All,

Seems my 2yr old Walbro GSS342 is on the way out (not impressed). Had to whack the tank to start the car this evening. Instead of replacing it with another one, was looking at Deatschwerks DW200 Fuel Pump. Others have recomended the DW300 on the forum. The 200 is 250 l/h pump - same rate as the walbro - slightly more expensive but perhaps less naff.

Does anyone know if the universal one will work ok in the 850 ? http://www.part-box.com/products.php?search=*9-201-1000.

Thanks in advance!

C

If I remember correctly, he had to make a small modification to get it to fit, but it wouldn't be a Wobbley project if it just popped together easily.....lol

I do like the idea of the dw200 to go in my tank....think I'll pop it on my crimbo list

DW300 with a minor amount of plastic surgery was a direct swap. All I had to do was slightly shave the inside of the pump housing plastic, DW300 is ever so slightly bigger in diameter.
I have had no issues with it - mind you my C70 has only done 4K miles since I fitted it 2 years ago.

loom is the same - so its pretty much plug & play - I didn't even shorten the connecting hose.
