May be if interest to make up a delisted parts list, I'll add what I know (reasonably sure are delisted), it may be of interest for people now as these are now classic cars (20 years old)

Can't get 302 carriers anymore? That surprises me. What's that make second hand ones worth?!

Ok I'm surprised at the front bumper, its possible they mite still be available, FRF use a place called, "classic car parts" or something like that, they got me a genuine boost pipe from them, the short one that goes from the turbo to the hard pipe.

Yeah that's what I thought, but it was Shem who told me this week. Gear knobs are no longer available for the 850r in coloured leather, they still have walnut listed, but for how long?

I think there is something like a back order service, when demand is enough they do a production run.

You can still get the 850r rear spoilers as well me and the little one recently bought two

You can use a v70 one, just a different design so a new holder needs to be sourced or in my case, made.

After a phone call to my friendly volvo dude today I can confirm the 302 carriers are extinct.

Are 302 carriers sided? As I have a new pair but don't want to sell them in case they are both the same side.

I'm pretty sure they're not, they are both the same part number.

I've been looking online & could only find a left hand one, I bought two new carriers separately but never needed them in the end.

Bad times.

Sad but true, that Volvo are stopping making parts for the car that changed their image the most over the years.

Still a long way to go to match 400 series levels of obsolescence though, Volvo washed their hands of them quite quickly in comparison, especially the 480. :(

Volvo can make spares until the car is either 20 years old orif the spares are not selling.

When I was at the Gothenburg factory, they said that they sell all the presses for the body panels after 20 years.

So obsolescence is in the post!

You'll be lucky (not checked) as Volvo don't keep the patterns anymore, iirc genuine were stamped 5 times, pattern 3 times.

You can definitely get a front bumper for the R's. I called up my local dealer and the bottom part was about £160ish to buy, same sort of price for the top grey plastic bit too

I spoke with frf, they said not obtainable? Who knows, but heard it a few times now.

I've found it depends on the dealer and if the person at the other end has worked for Volvo for ages.

I always used Redditch Volvo Main dealer. My contact that even managed to fine me a rear heated seat relay when others said it was impossible.

The relay was brand new from 1995. Still packaged on a shelf in a dealer in the USA.

One for the list, you cant get the immobilser antenna ring anymore.

clive brook seem faily good n keep a lot of old parts in bradford, got me a T5R badge when others said they didnt make them/stock them no more, even said there was a R bumper sat if i wanted it. but think the other local T5R has nabbed it

I'm not sure about the 302mm brake carriers/hangers. We bought a pair in for a customer just before christmas.
