Are V70R front wishbones the same as the rest of the V70 range i.e. 2 bolt fitting, or are they the same as the C70, 4 bolt fitting?

R's are usually four bolt Ste, the standard T5's and lesser cars are two bolt (same as the 850's I think)

Can be either iirc, early are 2 bolt, later 4 bolt.

It's very early ones on a 97

Have you gone genuine Volvo ones, cos I had a set of non-Volvo ones that lasted 6 months and they were knacked(car jolted to one side when braking)? GRN sorted me out with the proper ones, but I think it was £200 a side fitted.

Ordered from PFS, £60 each, already had one for my C70 off them with no issues, will be fitting them myself. :D

Bargain!! It was bloody scary when they went on my R, cos the car really did move to one side when braking. Scared me and my colleagues when out and about in her.

AWD will be 4 bolt.

Genuine ones earlier this year were £190 for the pair delivered from FRF ;)

Just checked, definitely 4 bolt, so not only the more expensive wishbones, but I have to drop the subframe as well. :slap:
