M58L ratios

Firstly, apologies to anyone who was going to bid on the M58L and bevel box that was on eBay - twas me that nabbed it :) I've bought it as a contingency plan just in case the autobox or bevel in the BoneWagon fails.

The manual box has a 4.0 ratio according to the label (see below). I believe that is compatible with my rear diff but just wanted to check with peeps on here - I know a few of you have done this conversion successfully.

EDIT - NB I'm aware I'll need a different rear gearbox mounting bracket, and that the AWD auto driveshafts can be retained, but if you know of any gotchas I'd appreciate them ;)

I'm watching this very closely, as you and I are moving in very much the same direction on V70R autoboxes, my phase3 5 speed auto, is being removed to make way for a six speed M66 AWD, I've not looked into the rear gearbox bracket yet, I was leaving that till I had it all out on the subframe and then work around what fits / what can be modified to suit.
