As above, I'm trying to figure out whether 40mm Apex springs will pull off the look I'm after, I'd rather not have to splash out on coilovers if I can help it!

I've seen coilovers on EBay at the bargain price of £230 if that's a route you want to take? Not sure on quality but for the price you can't go wrong surely.

NO you really can go wrong, they are awful. the ride is so bad i binned mine after less than 20 miles, buy a decent set of springs and you have a much better riding car, or if you can stretch then buy a decent set of coilovers.

FYI my sig pic is below is on standard shocks and Eibach springs

As above, I'd never buy cheap coilovers, I've had mid range before and I'd never buy again without damping adjustability.

Looks like the springs will do the job nicely, cheers chaps.

My old T-5. It had lowered springs, but they were fitted when I bought it, so I couldn't say what they were. I believe the rears might have been chopped a little too, just for extra dodgyness!

My p1 has pro sport coilovers wound right down. They are ok really, little bouncy on some roads but being hooped it's to be expected.
They will do until I can afford some bc's or fk's in the future.
It just looks so good being slammed. Lol
