This last week seems every service light under the sun is coming on including brake assist, engine system ect., which isn't an issue as I have booked the car in for Monday, but a new one today puzzles me. On call service required and the phone has shut down really annoying, can this be reset, as I do use the phone.

It could just be the battery failing in the phone unit. Harvey's done his a while back, maybe he can confirm?

I didn't get any fault code for the phone on the dash but there was a code logged saying low back.up battery that's the phone back up battery.
I would say the on call is linked to the phone so same fault ,as always get the codes looked at first.

With all these codes, main battery fault .

The main battery is under the boot floor, couldn't tell you where the phone battery is.

No the phone on-call will have its own fault code when the codes are downloaded it will say what the power reserve is at.

The battery for the phone is in behind the phone key pad, it looks like two "C" cells end on end,It cost me £140...just for the battery that's not fitted I fitted mine.

27067

But I don't think for one minute it will be at fault.
I would guess you have a power fault with all the other faults lamps, get the battery in the boot tested then the alternator, but get the codes looked at first.

Hi Folks just on the same theme in the service lights, I have just checked the codes engine service required code 042, on call service required 081 and brake assist service required 018. I have tried general search on codes so think I have an idea of issues but has any got a code list to give definitive, cars going into garage on Monday so want to have an idea of what's going on. Thanks folks.

I think the faults could be brake pedal sensor as one of them

Car gone in today to my little independant volvo specialist so on-call service light was a fuse blown, replaced and phone working now, brake assist was a couple of sensors needing replacement with clutch pedal sensor fault, slight leaking oil from servo onto it, which i kinda new about, i think stribo you may of mentioned a fix when replacing the clutch pedal sensor by covering it to protect the sensor from the leak, anyhow getting a quote to fix the servo/replace, but all in all with labour not as expensive as i thought it was gonna be. Clunking sound from 1st to 2nd needs further investigation but possible drive shafts or maybe propshaft, LeeT5 identified the propshaft could be the culprit. So the update the S60R problems to keep an eye on....
1) VVT Pulley Replacement, 2) Possible Liners or Head Gasket, 3) Driveshafts or Propshaft.
