Give it a bleed and go from there. Has it left a puddle on the driveway?

Yeah, there should be a bleed nipple on the pipe near the slave cylinder.

Just make sure the fluid is kept topped up right to the.top when bleeding do not let it drop not even a few mm as it won't bleed

front of engine bay?????????? I didn't look there just all round gearbox assumed it would be attached to bell housing somewhere I didn't think the R was a internal cylinder another one of Volvos we'll just put that there on this one I take it

Where the bell-housing meets the block, same height as the starter motor (roughly).

You'd have had fun finding mine.

It's internal.

Bleed nipple is in the same place though.

I bet, this wasn't exactly fun on this as I managed to snap one of the nipples of my boost solenoid thingy in the process so that's another £70 chucked into a job that this morning was looking like a quick cheap thing to do I've stormed in the house 4 times today shouting that's it I'm selling it lol

Which port did you snap off? if it was the return to the air intake, don't worry about it, just bung the tube up with a screw and some tape to stop it drawing air into the intake afer the MAF.

Good opportunity to fit a bleed valve... bypass the TCV and save yourself a few quid :)

was trying to avoid that as its been remapped but looks like a good option now but couldn't remember which pipe has to stay plumed into tcv

Don't put a bleed valve on it, there horrible things. You can get a bcs from frf volvo for £50, you need to get a v70 one though 9155936.

Just realised you have an s70, assumed you had an 850.

Not that you'll need it but here's a diagram. http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg37/saaamon/4500F809-2345-410D-B2E5-8C1225EDA87C_zpsgi4jthgp.jpg (http://s244.photobucket.com/user/saaamon/media/4500F809-2345-410D-B2E5-8C1225EDA87C_zpsgi4jthgp.jpg.html)

do you guys know what the best method for bleeding the clutch is cheers

Some people bleed it backwards using an oil can and pump towards the MC, it works but not really the best way in my opinion. Pumping the clutch and locking it off every time didn't work for me but I'm no mechanic.. Air bleeder would probably be useful.
