Service on d5

Afternoon to one and all,as above just had cambelt changed, oil, and air filter done at local garage,and yes they put 6 litres of oil as per book says, now after 2 days ENGINE SERVICE SYSTEM REQ is up on the dash, they did not see the sticker in the engine bay with recommended fill level, had no problems before the service, going through old threads on the forum and it seems to much oil has obviously been added and of this morning have drained out the oil and put but 5 1/2 litres as I read on one of the threads this would be req amount and the message would go in 2 days? Is this true. Yes it frigging is, message now gone...whoopa

I have yet to change the fuel filter,.....where is the blighter situated so I can change it.
