850R auto ecu swap not working

Hi guys

I recently brought a mapped ecu for my wagon the bloke said it was out of a 850 R auto the numbers match up and that but when I stick it in the car it'll turn over but won't fire why is this

immobiliser?

Fuel pump kicks in all seems normal but just won't start, little help please

will sell if it won't work in mine might work in someone's

Put your old one back in, if it works, then the new one must be ££££ed!!!

I put my original one back in and all fine fired up straight away. So you reckon the dude sold me a duff ecu anyone close to Hertfordshire wanna try in theirs
