Hello all you technical gurus out there. Got a problem, thought I'd answered it looking through the threads, but maybe not. 1995 850 auto 138k

1. Car stopped boosting just before taking it for a test, mechanic found a small vac pipe hanging off a right angled rubber elbow the sensor after the Maf sensor down near bulkhead. Repaired and cleaned electrical contact.
Still no boost.

2. Feels like its running on 4 cylinders, not a lot of power, but thats maybe because were all used to turbos.

3.Got it booked into a local volvo independent to be checked as the codes were undecipharable.

4. Lambda light now staying on permanently.

Am I going to wreck the engine taking it to the garage 20 miles away?

Is my cat destroyed beyond help?

Will my beloved be off the road a long time?

I want the 280hp conversion, will it happen or does a new engine take priority

Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Take it to VT mate and save money, volvo are expensive, they can run diagnostics and know the cars inside out, then when the have diagnosed it, you can have it repaired and if its something small then have the upgrade.

Then get Adam @ VT to call me and verify the entitlement to discount....job done ;)
