This is me new engine bay after some crazy pipe work mod to take my new intercool, have been luck and I think it looks nice!!
Someone else must like it?

Where did you get the pipes etc, did you have them made, can I get some I want it!!

They are a custom kit I made my self, they will only fit my intercooler (RS500), not any standard T5 one, but if anyone is interested could make some kits up, I have alot of stainless pipe left over and alot of silicone.

No explod there mate!!!! soz to dissapointe! Not all white volvo have been owned by the LYPD, lol.
Will do something with them lead, your right they dont belong there, lol. :slap:

Soz Spesh thought because of the external condition it was ex plod lol,
your engine is a real credit to you mate, If i was younger and had the money i would do a similar job on mine, but i have plans to leave these shores and it's more important to me and my family than to have a faster car.

Stainless is a huge heat trap, you're basically fighting yourself. Get some Aluminum pipes stat!

How did you ebnd the pipes or did you buy a selection of ben and straight sections?

i'd be interested to know as I want to do something simular.

Stainless is a huge heat trap, you're basically fighting yourself. Get some Aluminum pipes stat!

To be hoenest I think the cooler is big enough to eliminate that problem, the one bit of stainless to the inlet manifold is ice cold and i mean Ice cold,

I hade 3 90 degree bends made for me in longlife swansea, just cut to size, and i bought i straight length of silicone hose for the joins

Ok I'm intregued now, is it something to so with the thermal conductivity of steel vs aluminium or is it the thermal capacity?
