Hi folks,

I seem to have a squeak when I engage and disengage the clutch in first gear. I only really notice it when the windows are open and I'm creeping along. It's only at the biting point on the way in and the way out (I think).

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

Jonny

Never notice that one before. I'm not even going to try and listen for it.

You know me to well Martin. On the C70 at 60 when you put the Windows down you would here the wind whistle over the mirrors, so needless to say the Windows never came down

actually, it seems that its my accelerator pedal not my clutch.

Does it feel dodgy? The peddal in my D5 is like that and you need to change the whole unit. I've never bothered changing it, if it was in my R though I would

Nah it feels absolutely fine. It just squeaks at the very start and very end of its travel. But the noise is louder outside.

Mine doesn't squeak at all but then I've thrown a fortune at it having it 'rebuilt'. Lol :D

Didn't do Jack on mine. Plus it's electronic so you have to watch.

Squirt the squeaky bits, not the zappy bits :)

I did but I think the squeaky bits are sealed lol. Not worried, Adrienne only recently noticed it haha women, I noticed it the night I bought it.

If it was there I'm sure I would know :) my dad used to have me crawling about the boot of his car finding rattles, I do have a couple on the R I want to sort out, I hate them lol
