my car might be going on the rollers standard tomorrow to get a power run before i play with it too much, i was just wondering if anyone knew of a way to maybe bridge some wiring to the gear box to make it hold one gear? i'm sure if i could do this it would make it easier for the dyno guys. thanks.

Winter mode would be 3rd in drive too guys, the only thing selecting 3rd will do is stop it for up shifting to 4th at 6k, but don't push kickdown because it will still override the winter mode.

so bit of a late update, but i hit the rollers saturday running standard map and a whole 7psi and made 185whp on 3 runs with the slush box with dirty oil. so i think my engine is pretty solid and now let the upgardes begin :)

i think i could have made a little more but the guys left it running when they were strapping it down and it has no heat shields on the turbo by the time they were running it the engine bay was red hot and there fan was only about 12 inches wide. but overall im really happy with it :)

Good result, obviously transmission drag losses can't be accurately calculated, but my finger in the air guess would be about 40 bhp. All I would say is you're going to be in trouble with the polishing police on the forum, as your car needs a damn good wash. ;)

Not a bad outcome then, you do need to get it cleaned though!
