Well my T5 has just come back from the garage after spending 6 weeks off the road. Needed a new fuel pump and a new turbo. Needless to say the fault finding proved to be expensive in parts, doesn't help I get the wrong turbo (straight flange and needed angled) and got a mk1 fuel pump as I didn't read the add correctly.
Anyway the cars back and running so to my question. I've got the recirc valve blanking plate to get the 'chatter' sound. However reading it seems it throws up a EML light. My question is can it be put on and the light ignored or will to damage something or cause limp mode?

Blanking the recirc on a P2 doesn't trigger any warnings mate.

It's a bit of a hot discussion as to weather or not it's good for the turbo tho.

Td04's are too small to stall with a.blanking plate :)
