Hello all

I'm an new member from Queensland, Australia and have a 95 Black 850 T5R. Curently it is stock with the exceptionof an exhaust tip. I've read much about the RICA chips on this site, and wonder if you guys know of any fitters in Australia.

On another note, the electrical seat shifter has jammed up on the back adjustment on both drivers and passenger side seats. Both of the forward movements still work fine though. Is this a job for volvo technician or should any old auto electrician sort me out.

Lastly....with the RICA chip, how much might i be looking to pay to have it fitted, and the ECU etc all tuned up nicely?

Many thanks

Chris

:welcome: Chris

I dont know of any dealers down under, but if there is one Adam will know (volvotuning)

The car sounds good, any pics ?

We pay about £500 GBP in the uk, i have no idea what that equates to in your currency, its too early (8.30am) ;)

As for the seats, sounds iffy that both sides are doing the same thing, i take it you have checked the connections? i would go to an auto electritian first and get it diagnosed, if he/she can fix it great, if not you have saved volvo the job of robbing you to diagnose.

Thanks guys

So the RICA with the ECU tuning can be achieved with 500 pounds. That seems pretty reasonable. BUT will all the internals etc handle the extra horses or will I be forking out major cash a new engine before march?

Car i have just sold has 178000 miles and has run rica for a year with out a glitch, the engine will take 350bhp with standard internals mate ;)
