Hi all have just fitted my MBC I have no boost gauge installed as prefer to keep the car standard looking (not like something out of fast and furious 101 gauges and pods) can anyone please tell me how far the max boost is for my standard t5-r :) should the standard boost needle go to the end of the white? THANKS

No, standard boost I believe should be just over half - 3/4 end of the white is approx 14psi/ 1 bar and nearly hitting fuel cut

Yep - on the end of the white bit, you risk bending something important.

So set it to boost just to the edge of the white and not off! The white yes?

3/4 up the white max mate, to be safe.

even better still bin the bleed valve, they are bad news. go and get a proper remap and leave it along. that way your car will stay reliable for aslong as its well maintained.

if its a bleed valve yes bin it, but an MBC i love. As long as you don't go stupid there fine, i used one for many many years with no issues.

i've not found a remap that even comes close to the kick-in-the-back you get from an MBC

i was a bit silly with mine, but as said never had any problems with it (not that i'd recommend anyone go that high with an MBC)

Never had a problem with the bleed valve on mine, and they're less likely to give boost spikes than a MBC.
