255 is the capacity of fuel it delivers in liters per hr. and not the model number. Most models deliver that amount so it is the model number you need to use for it to fit your tank!

I used Model GS 342 and the GS 340 can be modified to fit.

You will also find that you cannot use the supplied filter as it hits the baffles in the tank so i just used the standard one which was in good condition as it doesn`t go anywhere!

Also the straight fuel supply hose will have to be turned through 180 degrees to allow the pump to fit back into the notch on the plastic base......all will become clear when you attempt it.
