Sutty mark

Recently I have noticed my t5 is using oil (about a litre every 2.5 - 3k miles) I know I have an oil leak which is at the back of the engine but is not so bad that it drips on the garage floor, the car is booked in for this fixing, I have noticed that exhaust looks very sutty in edge of tail pipe, my concern is where I park there is a wall which I reverse up to and I have noticed this morning there is a large black patch on the wall in line with the exhaust, I'll post a pic later today. The car has now just over 235K could this black tar like splatter on the wall be oil? and if so first thoughts are is the turbo on its way out? I know the Turbo was replaced on the car at 100K according to police records.

Thoughts on the matter would be appreciated

The leak might be just oil feed or return lines to the turbo. That wouldn't explain the marks on the wall tho - anyone else park there??

Cold start + rich idle + sat next to a wall for a minute or so = sooty mark
