Hi guys, stuck a post in the introduce yourself giving you all a heads up that I might have a few small questions.

Bought a v70 ex plod a few months ago. I need to repair some bits of paintwork, but paint code on car is for white. Have had wee look on here, mine looks like the colour of jamest5's car. Can anyone help plz?

Hi have a look on your id plate for the paint code number.

It's in box "F". It will be a three numbers that give you the code of your car.

Go to a paint shop theyll match it using colour chips. Theyll be several different shades of every colour

Yip code on id plate says white. Was wondering if this is a problem that any ex Plod owners have come across before.

Give volvo a ring and tell them the reg they should tell you the colour.

Is the vin number the same on the dash ID plate and the engine bay ID plate ?.

best getting a paint supplier to match it. i bet its had paint a few times in its life. least if its matched via colour chips your know its 100% the correct colour

Yip all other number match up. Just colour that's wrong. Just thought as I was going to check tis. If I had a white one I'd post on this. Take my hat off to you M-P-R. :haha:
