The engine oil needs to be ACEA A3 as a minimum, ideally semi- or fully synthetic. Regarding the grade, I'd recommend either 5W30 or 10W30 - I'm about to do a change using fully synthetic 5W30 and I note that you're in the same area of the country as me so thats what I'd recommend, but either grade would be fine TBH.

Auto box oil was originally Dexron II which is very very basic. Depending upon how flush you're feeling you can either use Dexron III (Castrol Transmax Dexron III is good) or else go fully synthetic with something like AMSOIL ATF.

10/40 is like 10/30, but 10/40 is cheaper & better protection when warm :D (I use 10/40). Mind you if it is a phase 2 R, that will have VVT on one cam, unlike my engine, so maybe 5/30 would be a better bet....5/40 even better

Auto box fluid I use that ATF-U stuff, see thread below

5/30 fully synth if you're gonna be thrashing the guts out of it a lot, 10/40 semi if you prefer a quiet, smooth drive with the occasional prod of the loud pedal.

VVT on both cams for the P2 R and 2.4 T5, one cam for the 2.3 T5s
