changing the bush Dave, i have got the old one out and read a few comments on the net that the easiest way to get the new one in is to stick it in the freezer over night (i dont have a puller btw)

Just get a long treaded bolt 2 large washers and 2 bolts and wind it in :)

so put the bolt through a washer, through the mount and bush then a washer and 2 nuts on the other end and just tightening it will force it through with no damage? :)

Yep plenty of wd40 and try to get washers as big as the bush makes it easier worked for me years ago after the the freezer thing was a mif lol

If you're using a bolt, you'll only need one nut, if you're using threaded rod, then you'll need 2 nuts, one for each end.

i.i.r.c. I used copper grease, but any lubricant that's not going to perish the bush would do.

I don't think you tube would work as a lubricant, maybe try you lube. :D

Doesn't have to be washers - got any old metal plate? Drill holes in that - you only want a flat surface that can push against the bush face, just try to ensure that the surface is bigger that the bush face or else it'll damage the bush.
