Well today ive booked my 96 T5 into a garage to sort out the permanent live wiring out on the heater .

It goes in next Thursday - (would of liked it in sooner).

I also have my Service booked in at the same time for its 78,000 miles has been reached.

Can someone tell me if 75.00 all in for full service is the going rate or is that cheap.

Cheers m8's

I was quoted £230 by my specialist for the 130k service, I can't remember the exact figure from the stealer but it was in the very high £300's or low £400's. I think £390 rings a bell.

No thats from a garage who's owner used to work for Volvo who is charging 75.00.

He said it includes all filters and plugs etc.

He is sorting heater wiring out at the same time.

If it's a full service its good value fo' sure - if it's just an oil/plug/filter change its not quite so good!

A DIY oil/filter/plug service will cost circa £45-50
