Pressure is one thing but the upgraded turbo may be flowing more at that pressure. You'll also have more fuel in and better exhaust out so it's gonna feel faster.

it does feel faster i reach about 16 psi about 3k rpm before i was hitting about 10 but now it gets to around 16 then stays there before it would keep rising then at 4.5k rpm hit 17 psi then start dropping off i know its faster i just can't understand it making less maximum boost then before there is probably a simple explanation as i am no car mechanic lol

What turbo do you have fitted

More fuel in + more exhaust out = more ooomph. simples.

If the turbo is flowing more air at the same pressure that's a bonus and the fact it's making more boost earlier on is gonna give it a kick up the bum too.

When I was running my P2 on just a bleed valve, it would make 16-17 psi from about 2500rpm and hold it there. When I got it mapped, it made the same boost but because the ignition timing, throttle response, fueling etc was altered in the map, it goes a lot faster right through the range.
