I've got a v70r backbox on the t5 and had to put a rear exhaust hanger on as it was missing when MOT,d.
It seems to be too high now and is melting the bumper.
Is there an R exhaust hanger or are they all the same.
Pics to follow tomorrow I hope if it's not raining.

I have a V70R exhaust on mine and I had to cut a fair bit of bumper away.
A pair of tin-snips works well.

Mark the cut out with a dremel first, or better still....use the Dremel!!

I tried using a dremel on mine - bloody nightmare. Bit's of molten plastic everywhere lol. Got quite stingy so I broke out the 4 1/2" angle grinder :D

It's not hard to get a half decent cut with snips, then clean it up with sandpaper.

yep I tried to use a dremel on a plastic headlight to see why it was loose inside and it was a nightmare- melted and fought me all the way even at slow rpm.

There's loads of different style rubber hangers available...
pop to your local tyre place or somewhat....or have you tried bending the hanger rods
