P1 central locking help needed.

I`m messing around with 2 P1`s and the one I want to put back on the road fob is in pieces so the donor car has 2 fobs working well.The query is is there central convenience on these I can swap so I can use remote fob from another car?

You can set the fobs to work the other car. There is a process to change them involving ignition on/off etc but not sure what

Just remove the grey large grey module underneath the dash to the right of the steering wheel swap them over and it is done.

Thats what I thought,convenience ecu but wasn`t sure these operated by one.Thanx for that mate.

Convenience on a Bosch 4.4 but not a Me7 lol.

Mine is 4.4 so it is the module behind drivers kick panel I as u said is it?

Yes it just slides out too the left,large Grey one with a green plug iirc.
