Hi Peep's,
only me again, today I changed the thermostat in my v70 (1997), successfully i will add, and quite bizarrely now the fault/ Ignition warning light has come on, does anyone have any ideas or similar experiences to share please.
while I had the bonnet up i decided to check the air filter and cabin filter as well as the oil levels since i only bought the car fairly recently, when i removed the air filter housing i found it easier to remove the ignition lead from the coil, this and the coolant temperature sensor cable are the only two cables as well as checking a couple of fuses i thaought may be suspect was all that i electrically disconnected and now have the warning light on constantly, the engine runs fine and and within the parameters of the temp gauge told to me before on my first question abut the engine temperature.
the owners handbook says if the warning light comes on then it could be an emmissions problem or fault, any help would be greatly appreciated.
