I have Cd spec and I rate it too!
I could live without the spec if a car was top condition but It nice to have all the extras otherwise you will always want more , I would love a V70R but I would miss the wood!

I dont have CD spec, however, I do have heated seats, full leather, air con, cruise, full electric pack, sunroof halef leather steering wheels, full wood pack, 3 disc changer and 6 disc boot changer etc so just be aware that although it may be classed as a lower spec it could still have all the toys.

I think you`ll find its 2.3 engine in the P1 Classic V70 T5 and a 2.4 engine in the newer P2 V70`s T5`s

Correct me if i`m wrong

Correct but 2.5 in the P2 R and S40 V50 T5 also LPTs are 2.5.

why not an r? i think the insurance will likely be cheaper and the running costs seem no different.

until the weak angle and bevel gears break cause of the shoddy AWD system that Volvo used in the P1 awd 70 series cars.

plus, at least over here, insurance on R's is definitely more than the T5's...
