I've found a couple of standard 850's and a t5 in my local scrappy and will hopefully be going on the hunt for bits soon. I was wondering if the suspension parts for the base models are okay for my 850r? Im mainly looking for the wish bones etc as im planning to refurb them and fit uprated bushes. Any help would be great

hello mate, you need to check the fixings on the wishbone first as I am pretty sure an R model will be a 4 bolt fixing like this (http://www.partsforvolvosonline.com/product_info.php?cPath=2_535&products_id=3389) but a normal 850 will be 2 bolt fixing here (http://www.partsforvolvosonline.com/product_info.php?cPath=2_535&products_id=7005)

unfortunately you cannot poly bush the 4 bolt version to my knowledge.

if the t5 happened to be ex-police, then it would have the 4 bolt version fitted.

Cheers for the help folk. Going to try go down soon and see what's left of them. Last I checked the t5 was complete. Just put my R into garage for mot, here's hoping it goes okay tomorrow!
