Hi, have a S60R Have a fault code of P0193 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor - High Input.

The Live data saying that the sensor is reading 120536kpa

Its 100kpa to a 1bar.

Got a new sensor today plugged it in but didnt fit to the end off the rail and the kpa is reading about 25845 now.

The vadis says its should be around 300-400kpa.

The fuel pressure is correct as i did a manual check all if fine. The car does a little miss/sputter now and then and has cut out once performance seems ok. The car has been remaped by HLM.

Didnt want to go and fit the sensor as its wasnt cheap. anyone else know or had the same problem.

Also the diagnostic dont always want to connect to any off the systems on the R's but will fine on the rest off the volvo any know off this too?

Are you experiencing any other issues, dials not working as they should etc etc? (Thats to cover the diagnostic not connecting to all the cars control units).

the sensor can be bought from europarts for about 90 quid. i replaced mine when i was told it had gone. turned out it wasnt that

its was a fault with a rica ppc unit. i removed a remap but it only removed half of the file.

main issue was it was overfueling. it was running 1.2 bar boost instead of 1 bar. and probs other stuff that i wont of noticed. got a hlm map to sort it. cost me 300 quid but not end of the world

Wouldn't say mines over fueling. may have to take the plugs out and have a look. according to my dyno graph print my max boost is 1.24bar. Only had mine since Saturday so haven't had time to get stuck into it yet. put a new cambelt on at work monday just doing bits as and when at work. may have to ring hlm tomorrow see what they say.

My thinking would off been just having the pressure sensor plugged in and not fitted in the rail it should read 0kpa.

Not sure if it would read zero when plugged in as you have got air pressure at 1 bar.

Would it not then read 100kpa as its 100kpa to a 1bar? May just fit it and try it was worth a post because i could end up wasting £100.

Got the car from Harlow London way. Yeah they need a good clean. That will be a job for Sunday. Last owner had it for 4 years had clutch, dual mass and angle drive done. cam belt wasn't that old but like to play on the safe side so replaced it.
