as above really but dont shoot me just yet, im having trouble finding a 19t for my 940. Someone asked me if i i had considered ebay turbos and i straight away said no not a chance there ££££ etc. but then got to thinking have they improved over the years? and if not any they do fail after a while could i rebuild it with genuine parts? i know i could modify a actuator but thats about all im sure off, i know ebay turbos were a no go at one point but these days on a 940 running 250hp ish?
not saying im thinking of useing a ebay turbo but just looking at all the info first before i even think about it.

something like this:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLVO-850-2-3-T5-R-1996-1997-TD04HL-TURBO-CHARGER-New-Express-Delivery-/400613953447?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3AVolvo&hash=item5d4673cfa7

Ebay turbo's is a draw of luck. Some are fine and will last a while, others are ££££, blow up and maybe even damage more then that. Also fitment/overall quality can be lacking behind. I would opt Volvo brand parts (or other "big brands"), but that's my opinion

I use a Chinese Ebay turbo, as does Adam in the Volvaxo :)

It says it's for a 850, but has an angled exhaust flange, so you'd have to change your downpipe.

you could always buy a genuine 15g/16t and fit a 19t compressor housing and wheel....even with a refurb kit its still cheaper and you know exactly what you've got.

for example.....http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Upgrade-Turbo-Compressor-Housing-Wheel-VOLVO-S70-850-TD04-19T-/121098504671?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c320889df

Should be o.k for the power your looking for.

the centre cartridge of the turbo will need machining to accept the 58mm wheel

this was going to be my next question because you can also do it to the 13g i think? and i do have a spare standard turbo so need to look at the codes.

im waiting to hear back from a place about the cost of machining

Go for a 16t and stick a 19t wheels and housing until you get all the supporting work done, then move up to the gt30. I think the young people call it 'hellaboost' nowadays

Yes as long as you use a 4 bar fpr then you could run 18 psi on that turbo .but get the car on the dyno to check afrs before and set the boost till you start to run lean then back it off

hopefully going picking up a good condition 16t tomorrow :) its a good price to but its a job lot of parts that was built for a project so will have some selling of bits to do, it dose come with a m90 box and i have a spare b230fk sat here and a sierra saff?

just looking into the exhaust now, want a 3" down pipe into a 2.5" system, but im not sure if im going to make my own or get one made? im no fabricator but i did make my own 2.5" exhaust on my 360 turbo but that was pretty simple but im not as confident looking at the 940, has anyone on here made there own? would like to see pics and here peoples opinions.

whats peoples opinions about upgrading the inter cooler? is it needed? i hear the standard cooler can take 300hp? or is it worth upgradeing anyway to keep the inlet temps down,

also what spark plugs should i go for, the ones that i put in it dont seem to like the extra heat with
