2 or 3 months ago I decided to have a mass clearance of all the old car parts that I thought were either useless or the hassle of trying to flog or refurbish them was far outweighing the benefits of doing so and just scrapping them.

So I went and filled the car boot up with just about every useless piece of junk I had, retaining just a few items for future use if anyone else or myself actually might need them. The result was a boot full of old car parts which I sold to a licensed scrap metal trader. Here's the pictures of the car boot loaded up with the junk, including the old gearbox, before I took it to the scrappy. I was gob smacked how much I'd had changed to date......!

As you can see, it was easier to take some of the stuff down in the boxes, but essentially here is a complete V70 P2 suspension, brake pads, discs and calipers, gearbox and a few odds and ends.

James, you have just left the door WIDE open for someone to reply to your post with something like..............

'why did you not leave the car at the licensed scrap dealer'

I wonder how long it will take!!!

I sent just about everything to the scrappy mate. It's murphy's law that went to scrap it all someone will want something.
