Yeah, it`s MOT time.

The old girl is booked in for 10 o`clock so I`ve got a few hours to refit the cat and change over the injectors for oranges.

Then give a quick look over to make sure everything is OK :)

I always dread MOT day, it's like waiting for test results from an exam.

Mine passed this week as well `97 V70 T5 the emissions were 1/2 the percent they are suppose to be!.......maybe HLM 304 + injector cleaner in the tank.......didn`t even warm the engine up went straight to the MOT just around the corner.

Well just back from the MOT centre..........

And she passed :) :) :)

but had a couple of advisories, rusty rear springs, surface rust on reat brake pipes and both outer CV boots slightly perished.

All jobs for the summer :)

Just waiting for the exhaust to cool down so I can remove the cat and refit the white injectors.

As I was in the process of changing over down pipes I would have a closer look at the exhaust sensor.

As most of the southern softies know the old girl does like to back fire ever now and then :)

Martin can tell you about the strong smell of petrol coming from my car so you would thought see was over fueling but for a car running a HLM map with whites and a 19T the exhaust sensor doesn`t look that bad :)

It will be interesting to she what it looks like when I run the blues at 3.8 bar :)

I`m the same map as yourself but with the 18T with standard whites and the plugs are a similar colour to your Lamda sensor.....i did read that HLM 304 maps tend to run weak but i have never had any problem in 2yrs.
