I think J managed a 14.6 but could be wrong. I know it is in that region and my god that is impressive for a manual VT5 !

14.6 was his best time so far - but i think that was with a turbo bolt off!!!

very quick car then !
Justin
Thursday 27th January 2005, 14:34
Like they said mate, 14.6 but that was with 2 bolts missing off the turbo to downpipe housing, they loosen when hot and fall out.
Since then i have had lock bolts put in that dont do that and no problems as yet ;)

Uh oh.. I can see me getting pressured into embarassing myself. Not done any sprint tests before, so I'd better start making excuses now :D
Yep, I'll definitely be sticking around, as will Nookie. Without wanting to suck up too much, it seems to be a very friendly, helpful forum/community that I'd love to be part of. I hope that I can contribute something useful to it too.
Cheers

I think I would like to refer to the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" on this point -

There is no pressure to race - just turn up for the bonnect popping and testosterone appreciation LOL - then you can sit back and watch the boys waste the chav mobiles on the strip - perfect day out! :dgrin:

Well, until the Rover I didn't have anything worth racing, then with the Rover I was afraid the engine might fall out, or throw a piston through the bonnet or something equally as expensive to fix. I'm not against taking her out on the strip, so I'm sure it'll happen at some point :D
LMAO @ "mostly harmless"
