Yep, 320 is standard on that model mate. That's the same caliper as the on on my XC90 front 336s. Different carrier and you can slap 336 disks on there :)

Nice to see another ex-plodder on the forum. You have my number if you need anything.

The guy I bought it from got it about 3months ago direct from ex-plod sellers near Halifax and as he`s job distance changed he purchased an oil burner so I`m the 2nd private owner. The mileage is 165k

Think 350 bhp is available will the usual mods, exhaust, filter, stg 3 map.

I don`t really want loud exhausts etc,may be just under bonnet growl from a filter.Loud exhaust doe my headding on a long run and the thing is you have to either do 55mph or 80+ quet it down.

Not sure about suspention but brakes are big,the clearance between the cally and wheel is about 10mm.

exactly the problem I have with mine mate. 60-80 is hell.

the calipers are the same as the xc (as is your rear suspension from the look of it) stick the 336 disks on there and see what clearance there is ;)

i well built system wont droan. i get a nice burble and no droan at any speed. if it did id remove it straight away.

[QUOTE=M-R-P;661405]exactly the problem I have with mine mate. 60-80 is hell.

you need a another silencer. just a little one. the wadding in yours is probobly poor quality stuff that dosnt last very long.

for stage to you need a uprated filter. they are cone filters on these anyway. only 40 quid for a decent one. down with at least 200 cell and a free flowing exhaust and and your ready to go.

Was drone free in my old obx system as is with my current powerflow and 3" decat. ..

Biff
Sunday 17th November 2013, 12:16
I'll be honest my system doesn't drone at all. It's lovely.
One of the reasons I went for Jetex was its slogan"the silent performer" I wouldn't say it was silent but it sounds good when the loud pedal is pressed so reckon graemes right on that one.
I hate loud cars, especially something as comfy & smooth as a Volvo.
