Does anyone know where the best place to fit the water injector is on my Volvo S60 t5? How do I fix it to the pipe? It has the thread, the instructions say drill a hole in the throttle pipe and tap a thread into it. Does that work? And does it seal ok over the top of the pipe or do I need to use sticky flex or some sort of sealant? This is the system cooler mist http://www.coolingmist.com/pagedisplay.aspx?Feature_Key=special_injectors

22969You should fix that nozzle as close to the throttle body as possible on the air supply side. Practically, the best place is into the black plastic inlet pipe somewhere along its horizontal run to the throttle body.

I have attached a picture of where it is on my Britcar racer.

Regards, Don.

What's that attached to the fuel rail there Don?

It is a return to the fuel tank. We have a 120 litre tank with two switchable Bosch pumps
and the fuel pressure is controlled by an FSE device connected to the centre of the fuel rail.

Ignore red dust paint all cleaned up now ha. Guess I'm best of cutting the throttle pipe back more and install a steel pipe with a nut wielded to it then screw injector into it?

That's just what I need. I'll see if I can find a pipe and sort it. Is that a 63mm pipe?
