Ooh innit all nice and spangly in here?!!

Bought myself a 52 plate V70 D5, and I'll be honest the drive was very nice indeed! (even with the extra hour an half traffic jam on the M4)
It's a high mile dark metallic grey which drives pretty much spot on. DMF, DIM and intercooler have been replaced.
Only niggles are a creak on full lock when stationary and grumbly wheel bearing. Seems tip top other than that.

See if your still enjoying it after a few weeks, I have a real dislike for my 2.0t........no soul, character or anything that gives it any sort of personality. If it wasn't for the mpg then it would be for sale very soon. But at least yours will have a decent soundtrack to it.

Dave850 deleted it on his Golf. Any benefit/danger of doing this? Or just clean it?

Its there for a reason, id clean it and keep it working. Mr. D's D5 went much better after an egr clean.

it's only there to reduce emissions and they aint tested in an mot so blank it off and get some free hp's, and hot air back into turbo isnt good for power surely?

Sat at 80 - 85 most of the way back and averaged 46mpg.
I'd have been at about 20mpg in the R. Lol.

Noticed a little chirp that sounds like a valve or something when boost comes in from low down.
Is supposed to do that?
