Has the fuse blown in the control panel inside the boot on the left side ?.

Is the fuel flap locking after 5 mins as the same fuse does both.

Just looking its number 28 should be a 15 amp fuse

just tried fuse intact swapped anyway no effect :-[ rear panel no6 on mine.
also tried the reset locks ecu by ign pos 2 holding front elec windows 5-8 secs removing keys then locking/unlocking twice
tried several times without success...
would disconnecting battery do anything? then reconnecting...

does the rubber panel housing the switch you press in to release it feel spongy? if so i did hear a few had a problem where the repeated use of the panel caused suction and held the switch open.
i believe they rectified this by putting a breather hole in it .

the button feels ok just seems like if its a motor then its failed..
wondering if its any easy job? d.i.y?

i think so, it is just all one unit . interior panel off and unbolt the old one.

only other thing i can think of since its seemingly dead would be a wiring break in the boot hinge loom. - relatively uncommon in this vehicle though, whilst other models are well known for it.
i presume all lights and everything else on the boot lid electric works ok still?

Does the fuel flap lock after 10 mins or so ?.
if you remove the trim on the boot lid and unplug the motor is there a 12 volt supply at the harness plug when you lock the car it will only be for second or so.
Also if you have a tester see if the is a reading accross the motor pins.

thanks for the responses guys
harvey think looking at my owners manual the fuse is a 10 and only responsible for the boot motor as theres another fuse for the fuel cap lock!
