Not my usual request but i need to know the co2 g/km for an 850 t5 from new, anyone help me? its the last bit of info i need i think to register this £££££££ olive bitch 2 of mine :)

Although i can't help with the exact c02 number, i can tell you that to tax it first time will be a lot. A friend of mine not long ago had to register a 98 v70 2.5t and it was £440(?) to tax it.

Found a site that had all the 850's c02 numbers...........apart from the t5, typical lol

sorry james, it is not in the pocket data book. everything else is even co2 at idel - i suspect they didnt care about i back then or were too scared to print it!

another thought - dont u need the vehicle type approval cert from volvo to register or import a vehicle - would it be on there?
u ring volvo hq for those btw

Certificate of conformity only available for 96 car's onwards tried that one mate even sent them a cheque for 94 quid and Volvo returned it

A bit of info here Jim, just says pre-98 may not be available. Nothing shown on the log book?

James - Why?? If the car is over 10years old don't you just run it in for an MoT and then visit your local DVLA where they will do the rest?
In this instance a certificate of conformity is not required due to the car being first manufactured around 1994. I don't think The IVA(new name for SVA) does not apply in this instance.

Not as simple as that anymore mate wish it was, i bloody thought it was lol, 1st have to reg the car with hmrc, then complete this bastward form, its got full mot and insurance, getting sick off the bloody phone calls to dvla get a different muppet every time.

Is the car an import? Or are you re-registering a written off vehicle.

IVA is the brand new method for registering a vehicle. Are you sure you are speaking to right person and not a office monkey?

It's jelt5 old car he put it on French plates a couple of years ago just want it back on British plates, done what I can with the form just gonna send it off and see what happens
