Purple R?

Does anyone remember reading about a Purple 850 that got imported from ....christ I cant remember, its was in a thread on the VOC. There's a guy saying he's got it and that its an R.. From speaking to him on the phone it doesnt sound like an R but then I've not seen any photo's and I certainly dont know of any R's in purple.

if its imported it could well be..all colours in them abroad even get 2.0 R if im not wrong

Yeah never mind, after speaking to the guy I was a little unsure, after looking at a pic I found of the car it's just a standard 850, just some numpty has stuck R badges on it and the owner thought he had an R..Lmao..

A mate of mine had an 855 in that purple/lilac colour and it had T5R as the model on the log book.

Always wondered why there was an 850 2.0 turbo listed on Autodata !

Had a quick look last night but couldn't find it, but isn't there 1 mauve R on that production list?

my first 854 t5 was a purple/lilac one,unfortunatly it never made it onto the road so I scrapped it thinking ill get another in the same colour....................I was wrong :(
