Don't mention you have EBC's..... They are bad news and would mean an immediate disc change to a potential buyer

Hi,
Umm, ok, Price too high, lets try £3995, :shifty:
As for EBC, Well, I would have agreed, but having had one set replaced, I am about to change them again, but follow "to the letter" the fitting instructions, have contacted EBC and had a long and informed conversation, they assure me that the combination I have is the right one :shifty: and I am prepared to give it one more go with a new set... they work fine, best I have had but I am in love with copper slip, and that perhaps is where I went wrong
problem is brakes can be a very personal thing, and depends on how "one" uses them, reading through the forum, it is clear that we all drive with different styles, this is to be expected... so time will tell.

The price seems ok @ £3995 - having seen this car (parked up  ) at the Pod - its a nice example!

They are utter poo..........
Mine are warpped, got heat marks all over them, shake the car to bits when braking, and worst of all they don't work as well as regulat solid discs. Just look a bit special and that is it !!!
Very dissapointed !

never raced or rallyed...
Maybe, but I'd be tempted to change your icon and gallery pics. They don't give the desired impression of an easy life driving to B&Q and back.

Umm, EBC doo look nice, my first set worked really well, except after a while they started to shake, so I took em back, they were changed under warranty, and then read an article from a web site www.stoptech.com about the myths of warped discs, it's worth a read, makes a lot of sense and is by the looks an un-biased view of what happens during the braking cycle....
Will have to see where it leads for this set..... :shifty:

icon, Change, well I can see what you mean, but most on this site treat thier ownT5's to similar things, have seen a lot at the POD, anyone outside wouldn't probably see this site, and anyway, it does em good to give em a work out... I like testing things to the limit.....
But point taken...

I recently sold my 1995 T5 Estate CD with all goodies and having notched up 115,000 miles for £4,200. I got a call within 4 hours from Autotrader Web and the guy came the next day with cash. He tried to get some money off, but once I refused he coughed up.
After that I had 16 calls from buyers (not canvassers) so the market isn't that bad.
