Hi all,

I am on a mission to get this start problem sorted....it only happens when it is a stone cold engine (left over night etc) it will crank until I press the accelerator pedal down for about 2 seconds then a second after it splutters a little and bursts into life.

I have already changed the fuel pressure regulator and the coolant temp sensor. It has genuine Volvo plugs although they are about 3 years old. Had a mega full service a month ago including all filters and fluids.

I am tempted to put it ScanMaster ELM to see if I can see anything strange.

Any ideas or suggestions will be great!

Not sure to be honest mate. Although the camshaft position sensor was replaced back on 2010 also.

Also, had a mess with the battery today. The one on the car has 600cca which is plenty. I didn't manage to get it checked but swapped mine for my brothers which is 550 cca and known 100% working.

Unfortunatly it looks like the problem is still here. :(

So all I have left idea wise is spark plugs but would they only effect cold starts? Its fine when warm.

Also had the car looked up to my laptop running scanmaster elm diagnostic software and everything looked fine.....
